Hmm.. this one’s for the youth and the NRI market, straight out of YRF /Dharma school of films. The film is called Anjaana-Anjaani and stars Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, directed by Siddharth Anand ( Salaam Namaste, Bachna Ae Haseeno). The film is supposedly ‘inspired’ from a movie ‘Girl on the Bridge’ – a French film (La fille sur le pont)
It is due for a late September release. Whatever the movie is but it will take a big opening at the box office due to the current rage of Ranbir Kapoor and of course the settings of the film.
Here is the first look..
The video works directly on YOUTUBE only, for now.
Looking at the first poster of the film Anjaana Anjaani we realize that even the poster is ‘inspired’ from the poster of Hollywood film ‘An Education’ . Check out both posters here.
Here’s a treat for all movie lovers and passionate followers of the classic bollywood film SHOLAY. As we all know Sholay is one of the most watched and loved Bollywood film ever. The film had Thakur played by Sanjeev Kumar hiring noted criminals Jai and Veeru, played by Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra,to capture Dacoit Gabbar Singh played by Amjad Khan.
In the original film ending Gabbar Singh is about to be killed by Thakur when the Police intervenes and captures Gabbar Singh, however this wasnt the original ending of the film. The original ending had Thakur killing Gabbar Singh, but the ending was toned down and altered due to the intervention of the Censor Board, who felt that in time of Political Emergency (which was there at time of release of the film), the ending in which villain is killed by the hero would be too harsh and thus the ending was altered by the director Ramesh Sippy.
But, here is the original ending as it was meant to be. You see and decide whether this one should have been there or not.
